How to add files to root directory from WordPress Plugin

  Hi team,

  I am developing the WordPress Plugin, in that when the plugin is installed and activated in WordPress when the user clicks on the save button from my plugin, i want to save some js files in the WordPress root directory.

  Can I be able to do this from a plugin? If Yes, Can anyone please provide more information on how can I achieve this?
