How to add floaating follow feed subscription?

I came across a WordPress blog that has on the right-hand side a floating follow feed subscription button/link. As you scroll down the page the feed subscription button floats and follows the reader. How can this be accomplished?

The blog with the floating follow button is: http://www.vinniecosta.com/blog/

I’m sorry but the floating follow button is not available for use on free hosted wordpress.COM blogs. The blog you point to is a wordpress.ORG install. Look at the footer link > Proudly powered by WordPress and when you click it your arrive here > http://wordpress.ORG

I also note that the site linked to your wordpress.COM username is not a wordpress.COM blog. Here we provide support only for free blogs being free gosted by wordpress.COM. In order to get support for that site you must post to http://wordpress.ORG/support/

    [Personal opinion]

I really dislike floating buttons or slide outs or any of those types of things. I’ve actually quit going to a couple sites because they’ve given me no way to close or disable them, or they kept appearing again and again. To me, this says desperation. It’s the web equivalent of a stereotypical used car salesman in a lime green leisure suit that won’t leave you alone to look at the cars.

I agree with TSP and I have also unsubscribed from blogs that use them. If I experience them on sites I haven’t visited before I click out never to return again.
