How to add font family to theme (premium plan),@import rule not being saved!
-
@import rule is not getting saved when I import a font from google fonts it shows up on preview and when I save it that particular @import-line is stripped away.. I think wordpress is doing that to save blocked sync css calls.. but what’s the way around..
I want a different font for my theme! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @swartistick, the @import rule is not allowed on the Premium Plan for security reasons. This is due to the structure of the system that the Free, Personal and Premium users are on. On the WordPress.com Business plan, it is allowed because Business Plan users are on a different system.
See our Code support page for more on these restrictions.
Under Customize > Fonts, there is quite a selection of custom fonts that you can use on your site with Premium. Hopefully you can find some fonts that will work for you there.
