How to add Foodie Blogroll widget?
-
How do I add the Foodie Blogroll widget to my blog? I use the wordpress site but I have my own domain name (healthyrecipeecstasy.com). According to the email from Foodie Blogroll, they send a wordpress specific widget code to members hosted on wordpress.com. But I don’t see an “add widget” option.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You have to copy and paste the code into a text widget.

Thanks for the quick response. When I cope and paste the code into the text widget, it just shows up as the code on my website rather than the actual foodie blogroll image.

I cannot provide an answer to your question without seeing the code. Will you please provide the code between backticks so we can examine it?
The backtick ` not to be confused with the single quote mark ‘ is located to the left of the number 1 key in lower case under the tilde ~.backtick

I’m sorry but when I click that I don’t see the complete code and that’s what’s required to help you.

There was more text in the email but I only sent you the highlighted portion because I thought that was the whole code. Here is all the text:
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://widget.foodieblogroll.com?BlogID=22397"></script> -
Aha! There’s the answer. We cannot use any JavaScript on free hosted wordpress.com blogs. The software strips the code out to preserve security as this is a multiuser blogging platform. http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/

You’re welcome.
P.S. You could go back there and ask if they have a plain HTML (non-Javascript) widget code for you. -
