How to add free e-book email sign-up with MailChimp?

  I want to offer a free ebook on my blog in exchange for email sign-up, using MailChimp. How to I add this to my blog please?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Your question is how you can add a mailchimp signup form ? It’s pretty easy. Instructions are here : http://kb.mailchimp.com/article/how-to-add-a-mailchimp-signup-form-to-your-wordpress-blog

  A link to your free ebook can be included in your welcome message from mailchimp.

  The link above is not exactly correct – that is for WordPress.ORG installs – click through enough links and you will get to an old workaround

  @auxclass, Even though MailChimp uses “WordPress” and “WordPress.com” interchangeably in those instructions, the result is an HTML link which brings people offsite to MailChimp to sign up.

  Haven’t tried it yet, so YMMV.

  Yes not all “WordPress” references are created equal – went 6 go arounds yesterday with someone that did not believe me that they were in the wrong forum

  Hi did you find a solution to this? Im not quite savvy enough to undertake the suggestion in the link to the 2009 post above!
