How to add Google Analytics

I’ve used more than four hours with Googling and trying to add Google Analytics into my blog. I have Google account, I registered my blog address into Analytics and I got all codes, etc for adding it. I watched about 20 tutorials but I there was no answer. I don’t have either “plugins” or “editor” in my admin site, so I cannot use that code. I even tried directly download plugins into my computer (MacBook Air) but it didn’t help either.
Any ideas where I could a) find editor or plugins and add that code, b) find some other place in admin site where to type that code / html or c) download working plugin.
