How to add google metatgs to my site

    Am on a free plan but my site is not yet index in Google, I was given meta tags to put in my headers but I can’t find headers any where on my site.
    Pliz help

    Hey there,

    In order to add meta tags on a free WordPress site, go to My Sites -> Settings and then select “Traffic” at the top. Scroll to the bottom and you should see a section where you can paste the Google meta tag. Make sure to select “Save Settings” next to where it says “Site Verification Services.”

    Keep in mind that you don’t need add the meta tags to be indexed by a search engine. Depending on how new your blog is, this can take some time (up to 4-6 weeks!)
