how to add HTML text to a post

  Hi, I’m trying to add HTML text from Amazon into a post, this is the text…

  All I’m getting in the post is a blank box. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

  Currently, iframe codes are not allowed (are stripped out) on WordPress.com for security reasons. You can read more about this here:

  Can you explain a bit more about what you’re trying to add? Perhaps it’s possible to add it to your site in a different way.

  Hi, I’ve been trying to add an image with text linking back to books on Amazon as in the HTML I sent previously. I couldn’t understand why the text only and image only links worked but not both together. It’s obviously because of the iframe codes, now you’ve explained. I’ll need to make do with the image or text unless there’s another way to add text+image?
  This is the HTML for text+image

  Hey Cathy,

  If you’re looking to add this image to a sidebar, the easiest thing to use would be the Image Widget described here:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/image-widget/

  You can customize the link text to make the image link to the book on Amazon. Additionally, you can insert a caption if you would like.

  If you’re looking to insert the image into a post, you could add the image and link it following the instructions here:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/links/image-links/

  Let me know if either one of those solutions will work for what you’re looking to accomplish!

  Thanks for replying, Jeremy. I’ve just joined up with Amazon Associates and my ID is embedded in their link. Not to worry the other links will work, it’s just that particular one. I was just stumped trying to understand why it wouldn’t work.
