How to add image script challenge to user signup

    With too many bot sign ups to my scienceguardian site at scienceguardian.com, where I use 2.8.1 WordPress. I want to add that challenge where you have to read the script written inside an image, where a bot cannot. Cant recall what this is called!

    Can I add it to 2.8.1 for user sign up?

    Seriously. Upgrade your wordpress installation to the latest version. There have been a lot of security updates since 2.8.1. The current version of the wordpress software is 3.3.1.

    That said…

    Sorry, that site is self-hosted and you need to head over to the WordPress.org forums as that is where self-hosted wordpress blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG are supported.

    These forums are for those hosted here on the wordpress.COM free hosting service and things here work differently.
