How to add LinkedIn icon to Anthem theme

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi,

I’m using the Anthem theme for my blog davinasirisena.com. I’ve got 2 questions:

    1. It has a twitter icon (and a few others) in the footer by default but I want a LinkedIN one as well. Is there a way of adding one so that it appears alongside the standard ones in the footer? For now I’ve added it in a footer by using HTML in the text widget but of course it then it doesn’t appear in the same place as the others.

    2. Is there a away of removing the text “Blog at WordPress.com. Theme: Anthem by The Theme Foundry.” that appears at the bottom of the page?

    Thank you,

    Davina

    Hi there!

    To answer your questions:

    1. In this case, I recommend contacting the theme developer directly for help:
    http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/anthem

They should be able to answer whether or not you can add LinkedIn to your footer to match the other services.

    2. The footer credit is required to be displayed according to our terms of service:
    http://en.wordpress.com/tos/

Note that even sites hosted through our VIP program, such as the TED blog, display a credit to WordPress.com in the footer.
(See the bottom of http://blog.ted.com/ for an example)

Let me know if you have any additional questions about this.

    I hope that helps!
