How To Add More "Featured Posts" In CANARD THEME?

    Hello Everyone,

    Yesterday I installed CANARD THEME into my WordPress.com Blog. I have made 5 posts and I want to show them all in the “FEATURED POSTS” zone like in the demo.

    When i go to APPEARENCE > CUSTOMIZE > FEATURED CONTENT although it says that:
    “Easily feature all posts with the “featured” tag or a tag of your choice. Your theme supports up to 5 posts in its featured content area.”

    But under that where there is place to “INSERT THE TAG” it allows me to insert only one tag and FEATURE ONLY a single post at the top i.e: ART (COLORED EGGS). Take a look:

    I have searched and tried my best to figure it out but i can’t able to make it. So i need help from you highly experienced people as soon as possible, please help me.

    Any help and suggestions would be highly appreciated.

    Hello,

    Thanks for posting!

    Edit your posts and add featured tag from the post editor.

    Repeat that on all the posts that you want in the Featured list and see if it works!

    Let us know if you need further assistance with this.

    You need to pick a single tag for your featured posts and then add that one tag to the posts you’d like to be featured.

    For example, let’s say the tag is superduper – you enter that tag in the Customizer’s Featured Content area, and then make sure each of your five featured posts have the tag superduper. Let me know if this is clear!

    Hello chaosforthefly

    You can change the order of featured posts by changing post dates, if this is not a problem for you. The newer tagged (with the featured tag) post will be on the biggest area.

    You can easily change a post publish date by going to Posts List on admin area and click on Quick Edit link below the desired post name.
