How to add multiple authors

  I’ve been looking through the support forums (and Google) and it appears that the only way to have multiple authors in the new post drop down list is to invite them and have them create separate blog log-ins? Three of us wanted to run this blog together, each posting as authors. Is there another way to do this? We don’t want or need separate log-ins or blogs, just wanted to add different names to the author section.

  Hello there!

  If you want to post as multiple authors, you will all need a separate WordPress.com user account. You do not need to create extra blogs, however. Simple the WordPress.com account will do.

  Here is how your new authors can create usernames:
  https://signup.wordpress.com/signup/?user=1

  Once you have their usernames, you can invite them as authors to your site. Once they confirm, you all can start posting, and you content will display under three individual names.
