For some reason I cant figure out how to add my added pages to my main page. i would have thought it did it automaticly, I have my About page set as a parent page, and I have another page linked to that page, but when I go to my about page I can’t see the other one. But neither show up on my main page anyways… what the heck amd I doing wrong?
If anyone could help me at all I would be forever gratefull!

    Hi Tanya,

when you say you set your about page as a parent but I bet you ment that the about page is a child of another page, when a page is set as a child of another page it will not show up on your homepage.
Therefore to make it appear you have to go edit your page and choose the option Parent: “Main Page (No Parent)” when this is done click the update page button and it will show up.

When a page is set as a child of another page that child will not being linked to from the parent page, it will just hide the page.

All your pages can be shown using a widget.

@tanyams: The response above is wrong (except the last phrase). Pages show up automatically in themes with top navigation (header tabs). The one you’re using is not like that. You need to go to Appearance>Widgets and add the Pages widget, so that your pages will show up in your sidebar.
