How to add my email address to my free wordpress site

    I have a free wordpress website and need to connect my email address from a different host. The online wordpress instructions tell you to go to Domains and then edit – but once i get to Domains – there isn’t an Edit button as the instruction state.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    You can only connect your email here if your domain is also here, as the email address would be @yourdomain, not @symbolsofyourlife.wordpress.com.

    It’s impossible to have an email address at a free WordPress.com address. You can only have that on a custom domain.

    To add a custom domain to your WordPress.com site requires one of our paid plans:
