How to add new administrator to our blog?
-
Dear all,
I have owned a weblog of wordpress. Now, I’d like to add a friend of mine to be a new admin, How can I do that?
It’s noticed that my friend is a totally new person who has never owned any domain before. He’s just my friend, so how can i get a new user name of my weblog and let him be a new admin?

I´m having that same problem, and in order to make her an administrator or even contributor, she has to create a wordpress account. This means that she has to open another blog, which is not going to be used. Is there another way?

All users that you add to your WordPress.com blog MUST have WordPress.com accounts. Otherwise, they will have no way to log in to actually manage the blog. You can easily invite them from Users -> Invites.
@clarasofia – they actually do not NEED to register a blog. They only need to register an account, and this is an option granted to them during the signup process. They should check the option, which reads, “Just a username, please.”
