How to add non top level categories to the main category page?

  I have a food blog and I was wondering how I can make the sub categories (i.e. ‘Breakfast, Smoothies, … ‘ show up under the main category page. I apologize in advance if this is super easy to do, but I’m new to wordpress!

  Hi,

  – In your Dashboards, go to Settings
  – Click on Writing
  – Click on Categories
  – Add New Category (eg Breakfast or Smoothies etc)
  – Here, if you wish, you can disable the Top level Category toggle to make this item a sub-category.
  – If so, select which category you will have as it’s parent
