How to add number in front of each comment?

  Does any know if there’s a setting to allow numbers to be displayed in front of each comment? Is that possible? I need to pick a random comment post for a contest (near future). It would help to have a number in front of it. Thanks in advance for your help.

  I don’t believe there is a setting that you can change for that, although you MIGHT be able to find a theme that shows them that way. I can’t recall any off the top of my head, though.
