How to add or post photo in blog?

I think that the wordpress has changed the way of posting photo in the blog. I was able to post photos in the past but now, i am using wordpress after a long time. I posted photo but my photo is very large and i can see only half portion of the photo. How can i post so that image/photo will be large as well as I can see full size of it. I do not want photo to be posted as Thumbnail. You can visit here in my second post and find out the problem. http://talkingforum.wordpress.com/
I am using firefox mozilla and internet explorer 6.0 and the problem is in both of them.

Please next time just link to the actual post instead of saying that it’s the “second one.” Who knows how long it will remain the second one on your blog?
Also please remember not to use the ‘www’ bit within your URL. The talkingforum takes the place of it. They shouldn’t coexist. 30% of the net, including me on this computer, and most search engine spiders can’t follow such a link. It also reflects very badly on you.
It’s setup that way so that the picture doesn’t run into your sidebar. If it wasn’t that way, it would either be covering the information within your sidebar (in firefox) or forcing down your sidebar to the bottom of your blog. (in IE)
Gotta admit though that not using a thumbnail is a very bad idea. Please remember that over 70% of the net is still on dial up. Asking them to download a nearly 90k file like that isn’t very visitor friendly. That’s over 30 seconds for them along with the rest of the blog.

But you could tell me in the simpler language. Now, I am telling rest of the people. Since photos are large, it is advised to reduce the photo size before posting them in the blog. You can use any photo editing software for that matter like Microsoft Office Picture Manager. Reduce the size of photo by 60 to 70 percent. If photo is very large, even 50% is advised. then, post it. You can get the whole picture in ur blogpage.

Hello Chamatkaribaba , I read your story about shifting from blogspot to wordpress. I had the same problem . When google banned me with the same reason , I shifted here. But Google is still having all our details , including our bank details . Is there any way to get rid off ? What did you do about it ? Anyway I feel wordpress is more useful and interesting. Most interesting is we have a forum here. Don’t you think so ? Happy blogging !

Under “About myself ” I placed a photo and it was uploaded . I don’t understand why it is not appearing on my web page ? Same size , earlier photo was accepted . Why this time it’s not working ?

2. I hate to ask a really dumb question about your photo problem, but i will anyway. Did you put the picture in your about page (so you could see it in the editor window) or just upload it in the box underneath the editor? -

Clearly: there is a language problem, but YOU are SO out of line. YOU are the one who needs to be told the etiquette of THIS Forum, not Judyb12 –one of the nicest most helpful people who replies on the Forum. WP bloggers help each other. Judyb12 was NOT being “arrogant.” Believe it: people who have read what you wrote have Decided NOT to help you or to reply to your future posts, because of your rudeness, aggression and because:-Your comments about blogspot/Google etc: BELONG where Judyb12 told you, very nicely, they belong; those are “Off Topic” comments that do not help others with WP issues OR relate to the subject of THIS thread.

Wow! I am surprised to see this post that I created last night still surviving here. Generally, the posts posted here will be buried under the flood of other queries. I have no comments and suggestions generally to anyone but Yes, I also feel that the comments on the contents of my blog must have been in my blogpost, I mean that was a good forum to ask and hope answer….though I have no grudges against ndmpoint. Guys, Just chill here.
I have answer to drmike moderator that I do not prefer photos to be posted as thumbnail size coz it will be very smaller and general people who just just gives bird’s view before reading it, is unlikely to click on it and enlarge it and see. Rather, a slightly bigger photo will attract them and they may read the blogpost if photo appeals them.:)
