How to add PDF as link (not as part of post)?

  Dear all,
  I know how to link directly to a PDF as part of a post. What I am trying to figure out is how to link directly to a PDF file in the ‘Links’ section of the blog’s front page.

  The Links section is the blogroll. You could, I suppose, Upload it as normal, don’t insert it into a post, grab the URL and put that in the Links if you wanted.
