How To Add Photos

I have succeeded (after difficulty) in loading photos from my computer to Media Library.
Now I want to add them to my post. I looked online at a cached version of your help page, and it says in Mediua Library go to “SHOW” and it displays SHOW to the right of the image. Then it says INSERT into post.
In my media library I see no such thing. I have my photos arrnaged top to bottom and to the right of each photo it says, from left to right, edit, delete permanently, view. I have tried all combinations of things and nothing works.
Why couldn’t the designers of this software simply had a button ADD PHOTO at the post? This is giving me a huge headache. I have used template websites like virtualtourist.com and nothing takes me more than 2 minutes. I am more than 3 hours with this one post and am nowhere near done. It really seems very unecessarily complicated.

If the images are already uploaded, then open the post you want to put them in, put your cursor where you want the image, then click on the “add image” button (grey square above main tool bar). When that window opens, look toward the top and you will see a “media library” tab. Click that and then you can select which image you want to insert into your post.
Also, we never reply by email, but since you have put it into a public forum, the spammers might. I’ll tag this thread so that one of the moderators will remove the email address.

OK, so now I have all the photos I want on the post. I notice only one photo has the caption displayed. I made captions for all photos. What happened to them?
If you look at the published private post page ( if you are able) you will see I have a lot of blank space between the top of the page and the text. Without knowing which is better or not, I chose to have all the photos line up on the left, the size next above thumb.
What can solve these 2 remaining issues? Thanks!

If the page is private, we won’t be able to see it.
I would venture to guess:
Multiple pictures, with captions are easily messed up in the visual editor. A better way to get them into your post is to add all the pictures, with the text you want in your post. Once that is finished, go back and add the captions.The problem happens with captions because you can’t be sure that your cursor is beyond the tags for the captions so pictures and captions start “blending together” (getting into a mess).
