How to add ping services?

  Hi!
  I saw several posts and tutorials on how to add the ping services list to my blog:
  Site Admin-> Settings-> Writing-> Update Services

  On my blog I can’t find the Update Services box. All I see in Writing are
  -Size of the post box
  -Formatting
  -Default Post Category
  -Default Link Category

  Please help me to add the ping services list.

  If your blog is hosted at wordpress.com (without a link to it we have no idea) pinging is taken care of for you automatically.

  If your blog is self-hosted, you’re in the wrong place. See the stickies at the top of the forum.

  Thanks for your answer! Does it mean there’s no way to control pinging?
  Yes, my blog is hosted on the wordpress,the address is magmadigital.wordpress.com

  I read it too that wordpress takes care of it, only I need my blog to be pinged to the Russian web resources and I believe wordpress is favoring the English ping services.

  Could you please confirm if this is so?

  That’s an excellent question. I’m not sure it’s ever come up and I don’t know the answer. I do get hits from various googles in other countries and I don’t know if your blog language being Russian means you get pinged to Russian search engines.

  Best bet is to ask Support directly. There’s a tab in your dashboard and a link at the bottom of this page. And please share the answer so we can all learn.
