  • Hey there,

You won’t find a plugin tab in the dashboard because plugins are installed and utilized solely for those with self-hosted WordPress.ORG installs:
    http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

The good news is that there are plenty of plugins already bundled and configured within the WordPress.COM blog/site. You can find out about bundled WordPress.com plugins here:

    Plugins

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks!

I want to add powerpress to track RSS feed sbscriptions and downloads. Since I cant add my own plugins, do any of the plugins that I have monitor these types of analytics?

nerdtrotic: There’s no way to add PowerPress to a wordpress .com site and wordpress .com doesn’t provide any analytics for tracking of podcast downloads. Blubrry, the makers of the PowerPress plugin, have a service called PowerPress Sites that’s free with any podcast media hosting plan. A PowerPress Site is a WordPress site fully managed by Blubrry that includes everything you need to get a podcast up and running, including access to Blubrry’s industry-standard stats. More information here and here. If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me: (email visible only to moderators and staff) I can also give you a promo code for one free month of service. (disclosure: I work with the Blubrry support team)
