how to add posts to pages
-
Hi,
I’m currently looking at resdeigning my blog, and I would like to be able to make several pages, where my posts can be published. Ideally, I would like a front page with my latest post on, (or if this is not possible, a static front page), and then have a pages for: fashion, beauty, lifestyle, travel etc. so that when I post a fashion post, for example, it automatically goes on to the fashion page. I have seen this on other websites, but I cannot find any way of doing it on my own blog. Do you know a way of doing this? Perhaps there’s a way to make all posts from a certain category go onto a certain page?Is there any way someone could help me out as I’m at a complete loss at what to do.
Kind Regards,
Sophia (mydogblog09)The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Sophia,
Ideally, I would like a front page with my latest post on, (or if this is not possible, a static front page)…
By default, on every new WordPress.com site the front page displays the posts page. At Settings > Reading, you can choose to display either a posts or a static page on the front page. See the Set a Static “Home” Page (Front Page) support page.
and then have a pages for: fashion, beauty, lifestyle, travel etc…
This is done by assigning various categories to posts, then including Category Pages in a Custom Menu.
