How to add posts to pages

    how do you add more than one post on a page other than Home page. I thought i saw it somwhere but now i cant. Every time i write a new blog post it goes on the home page, whats the point of my other pages then?
    Can anyone help?

    Hey there,

    You could achieve this through the use of either Category Pages or the Display Posts Shortcode.

    Using Category Pages, you would assign a specific Category, ie. “Example” to every post you would like to display within your Example page. You will then create a Category menu item that will be associated with this page.     Or you could simply create a new page called Example, assign it to your main menu and embed the Display Posts Shortcode within it, targeting only posts you would like display based on there IDs.     In both cases your all posts would now display on your Homepage and only posts chosen/assigned would display on the newly created page of your choice.

    If you would rather just remove the posts from displaying on the Homepage and have them display elsewhere instead you can also always just change your Homepage Settings within your Customizer to Static. Two new headings will then appear with drop down options for both. The first will allow a page from the list of available ones you have created that will now display as your Home and the second heading will allow you to assign you Blog to another page of your choosing.     Hi,

    Is there any way I can have more than one static blog page?

    I would like to have blog posts on each page of my drop down navigation bar….ie.

    Home (main page) | Travel (main page) | Food & Fitness
    About us (site page) Asia (blog posts) Adam (blog posts)
    Africa (blog posts) Harriet (blog posts)
    America (blog posts)
    Europe (blog posts)
    ETC, is this at all possible on wordpress? Will it be included if I pay for a subscription?
