  Hi, I need to add a javascript script to a post and it is not working when I add it to the HTML text editor (It shows up on the page)

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Are you just looking to post the Javascript code so others can reference it? If so, you can do that following the steps here:

  If you’re trying to post Javascript that executes, I’m afraid that won’t be possible. We block script tags from WordPress.com. If you’re looking to post an executable script, could you let me know what you’re looking to accomplish? Happy to see if there’s another way to get it done!

  Thanks for your response,

  Yes I was trying to include executable script – a tracker for content performance for a giveaway hosted by a company (they are the ones who want me to put the code in the post).

  Ah – thanks for clarifying! I’m afraid that won’t be possible at WordPress.com. If you’re just looking to monitor submissions, you could look at using Polldaddy for the giveaway. You could create a poll through that form that would collect submissions and give you some additional metrics.
