How to add Sidebar Widget for Polldaddy Survey

I created a Survey (not a Poll) on Polldaddy.

I now want to create a widget that appears on my site’s homepage, for the Survey. But all the directions I see are for doing so for a Poll…not for a Survey.

Can someone tell me how I can accomplish this? Also note that…I find the whole widget thing a bit confusing, so if there is a simpler way for me to accomplish this, I’m willing to try that out. Like for e.,g it occurred to me that simply within the text content of my home Page itself, I could simply insert a link/url for the Polldaddy survey?

I’d prefer trying the widget though, as that would be ‘cleaner’ looking…

    Thanks!

Note that I did previously IM about this with a Happiness Engineer, but for some reason our conversation kept disappearing so I couldn’t go back to reference the content or try to save it…

I did find a copy of the conversation which was auto-sent to my email account. It said something about getting the shortcode url for my pollldaddy survey, which I WAS able to find. But again I’m confused on the whole widget thing. When I try to add a Widget, I see no option to simply add a widget by pasting a url (ie. the Polldaddy survey shortcode) nor do I see among the list of possible widgets, anything to do with a Polldaddy poll or survey. In the meantime, I was able to insert the survey url among the text content of my site’s homepage.
