How to add Simple Text Link and Image in footer
-
Hi, I want to add simple text links, and an image to accompany those links at the bottom of my page like you see on so many sites, for instance: thedirty.com, bleacherreport.com, or ball hype.com… If anyone has enough time to check into this for me it would be greatly appreciated, just hit up one of those sites, scroll to the bottom of the page and youll immediatly understand what im talking about
Thanks

@nflperdiem
The blog you posted the link for is NOT a wordpress.COM blog. We provide support here only for wordpress.COM bloggers. Please read this https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/please-read-me-first-before-posting?replies=1 and head over to the correct forum http://wordpress.ORG/support -

I don’t see hostile, what I see is that timethief is trying to get you to the correct forum so that your question can be addressed properly. Answers for wordpress.COM blogs do not necessarily apply to self-hosted blogs.
The answer for a wordpress.COM blog would be,
no there isn’t really anyway to do that since you would need to have access to the underlying theme files, and we do not have access to those.
The above answer is not correct for self-hosted blogs like yours.

TSP is correct. I wasn’t being hostile. I have a self hosted wordpress install from http://wordpress.ORG and I have blogs that are free hosted by wordpress.com blogs too, so I’m aware that the answers are different and that’s why I wanted to be sure you went to the correct forum.
