How to add SSL / https

  Hiya,

  I’ve just created a wordpress blog and can access my pages fine using https, but my friends wordpress site cannot be accessed via https – can anyone advise on how to solve?

  Assuming your are referring to a free blog from and being free hosted by wordpress.COM then this is the support entry http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/

  The way I read the information is it’s aimed at us wordpress.com bloggers using https. It’s not aimed at our readers using it. They can access the blog just as they do any other web site on the internet ie. by using http:// However, if you want more clarity then Staff will have to provide it http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

  Hiya timethief,

  Thanks for the replies.

  The url of the site is http://www.chaletdulys.it/ .

  And, just to clarify, it is for visitors of the site that need https access. The thing is, I am setting up a reservation/payment system from the site which requires secure pages.

  I will send a request via http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ , but if anyone has any other suggestions/input that would be much appreciated.

  Well that’s not a free blog being free hosted by wordpress.COM. You are posting to the wrong forum. To get support for as wordpress.ORG install you must post to the correct forum for your software. It’s here http://wordpress.ORG/support/
