How To Add Static Text To Profile Page?

  Hello,

  Is there any plugins that allow for adding both extra fields and extra static text to the profile page.

  I need to have a short paragraph appear on the users profile page. Do you know how this could be accomplished?

  You can’t use plugins on a WordPress.COM blog.

  Profile pages ARE static, entirely static. Any content you post there doesn’t move at all.

  This is actually for a self-hosted blog.
