How to Add Subscibe Option to My Blog

  so, i know this is probably a really stupid question…but how can i create a button on my blog that allows people to subscribe to it?

  Either use the Meta Widget:
  http://support.wordpress.com/widgets/meta-widget/

  or the RSS widget and put your OWN feed in it (sometimes that doesn’t work and we don’t know why, but usually it seems to)
  http://support.wordpress.com/widgets/rss-widget/

  or you can make your own RSS widget in a text widget. Follow these instructions:
