Is there any way that I can enter people’s email addresses manually to add followers to my blog, for those who do not have regular internet access but want to subscribe by email?
Also, if I would link my blog to Mailchimp, would Mailchimp automatically send out my blog posts to subscribers by email whenever I publish one? -

It’s possible to do this, but there would need to confirmation via email, which would come via the email inboxes that are being added.
The Mailchimp block would allow visitors to sign up to a newsletter campaign created in MailChimp, rather than be used for sending out new post notifications.
