How to add tags to pages?

I can add tags to a post but not to a page. Am I able to add tags to a page and if so how is this done?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thank you! Could you answer two further questions as I don’t know much about this? 1) Is this limitation peculiar to wordpress.com. For example, if I had a website with someone like Nominet, or even WordPress.org, could I add tags to pages? 2) I want to make a static page my front homepage instead of the post page. Will I ‘lose out’ because of not being able to add tags to this page?

1) Can’t tell, I’m not an expert on other platforms.
2) If you’re going to open on a static page, tagging is essentially meaningless. What do you hope to get from the use of tags? In the last five years I have gotten perhaps five referrals from tag pages across all my blogs, and I have a dozen.
If you are concerned with SEO, have the blog open on the blog posts page.
