how to add text on custom header

  i want to add some text on my custom header, please help me out! i tried appearance>custom header but there i couldn’t find anything related to text on the header. by the way i am using MistyLook by Sadish theme.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes, we pretty much always want to see the blog before giving advice.

  You don’t need the CSS upgrade to put text on a custom header. In most cases, beside the actual blog name (which can be quite long) you can put a Tagline under Settings->General and it’ll show up. I don’t think it does in MistyLook, but if you change themes you can find one that shows it.

  OR

  You could use a graphics program to put the words on the image you want as your custom header, like a billboard, and then upload it.

  You’re welcome. Some people do some really snazzy looking things. Just be aware if it’s actually part of the graphic, search engines won’t read it.
