How to add the Archives section to the side of my page?

    I accidently deleted most of the menus etc that come with a fresh new blog. I also deleted the ‘Archives’, located on the right side of the post area, which shows posts per month. There is nothing there now, thus my blog is just a bunch of posts that you have to scroll down. How to add back the archives? I’m very new to worpress and have a hard time navigating the options. I tried chnging themes but it did not help

    It sounds like you want to add the Archives Widget. Let me know if you have any trouble with the set up.

    We can also limit how many posts are displayed on the post page. Right now, you have this set to display 10 posts.
