The only themes we can use on free hosted WordPress.com blogs like your blog are the themes found here http://wordpress.com/themes/

There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs for security reasons and we cannot:

upload any third party themes,
create child themes,
create our own themes,
edit templates,
create own own layouts,
or use stylesheets from other themes.

There is no upgrade you can purchase that changes that. WordPress.org offers free software that you can install on a web server. You can create themes, upload and install themes and plugins, run ads, and edit the database, etc. Learn about the differences here. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

If you want FTP access and to install plugins or third party themes into a site then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install.

There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.com blogs.

I have a free wordpress on my own hosting. So those explanation did not make it clear for me.

Is the blog you want help with a free blog provided by being free hosted by WordPress.COM that you purchased an annually renewable custom design upgrade for or not? If is is then post the URL here.

I am SO freaking tired of this. Bring back the Supportbot; it saves the OP time and it saves us time. I have begun tagging all the .org threads so that I can say to staff “Hey, look at all this! You want us to leave them for you to root through? Fine.”

Well it makes relevance, why I cannot get support here or there, same open source platform, is it because here you charge money to host this platform or what’s the big deal?

The deal is that WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and different and you are wasting your time and our time posting here.
