-
I wanted to add different pages/ folders to my photoblog? How can I access to such a thing where in I can have folders/ pages in order to segregate them according to how I want to place them?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m a photoblogger myself, and didn’t understand exactly what you want to do. There are a variety of different ways to organise / categorise content in WordPress !
Suggestion – have a look at the way I’ve laid out my blog, and tell me based on what you see, how you like to lay yours out – http://DonCharisma.org
Or, perhaps you can provide a link to another site that’s doing similar to what you want to achieve ?
Cheers

As Don said, there are several ways to display your photos here on WordPress.com
First, starting with a theme that highlights photography or photoblogging. There are several you can look at and choose from (both free and for pay) on these pages; there may be some overlap.
https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/photography/
https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/photoblogging/Next there is the Gallery feature https://en.support.wordpress.com/gallery/ which can be used on Posts and Pages
And the Portfolio feature https://en.support.wordpress.com/portfolios/
There are themes that are especially meant for displaying portfolios
https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/portfolio/Lastly, if you are looking to organize your images, my suggestion is to optimize, resize and organize them in folders on your own computer before you upload them.
WordPress.com gives you 3GB of free space, but that can be quickly used up if you are uploading images straight out of your camera or phone. Have a look here for more info on resizing and optimizing https://en.support.wordpress.com/media/image-optimization/
In addition to the free tools listed at the bottom of that page, there are online tools, such as picmonkey and jpegmini and probably more that can be used as well.
If you are just getting started on your site, you may want to join the next session of the Daily Post’s Blogging 101. September’s course is already closed, but they seem to run quite frequently.

Hello, I have created a portfolio of small size images and I have tried to link it to my active menu bar, so that when people click on it, the photos would open up from either the project or the portfolio. But nothing happens.
What do I need to do to link the title on my menu with the images in the portfolio, please? -
@justjennifer – thanks, very comprehensive !
@makeaboat – what’s the URL of the site you’re trying to do this on ?
Cheers

@makeaboat rather than hijack an unrelated thread, it would be best to open your own thread specific to the problem you are having with your site, which I see you have done here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/my-images-from-a-portfolio-do-not-show-up-on-the-home-page?replies=1#post-2464095
Please return there to continue the discussion. Thanks!
