How to add widget on my blog for Viadeo
-
I listed my blog in my profile on Viadeo.com, and it gave me some code for a widget to put on my blog, but I can’t figure out how to do that or even if it’s possible. In case it’s any help, here is the code:
<div id=”viadeoBlog”>
<script type=”text/javascript” src=”http://widget.viadeo.com/blogs/afficheblog/?w=1&b=0044ylcfnac9hp55&u=0041yhp5q2d3iqkj”></script>
<noscript>Join Viadeo, the professional social network chosen by <b>Georgia Adamson</b> and more than 40 million professionals</noscript>
</div>The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

As you can see from the code, that’s a Script. For security reasons, Scripts are stripped out here at WordPress.com, although they work at WordPress.ORG.
If they provide an HTML version, use that. If they don’t, you’ll have to find a workaround.

Thank you. Your response confirms my suspicions. I’m not sure the situation is important enough to justify spending much time on it, but I might revisit that later on.

Though you cannot use a Javascriopt widget what you can do is capture a small image from your profile page on that site, uplaod it to your media libraray, link the image to your profile page on that site and display that in a text widget in your sidebar.
