How to add widgets to a lateral bar?

  I chose a theme named Nucleare, which shows a lateral bar in the preview (it displays sections such as ‘About me’, ‘Archives’, etc.). However, when I try to add widgets to that side bar, they are added at the bottom of the page. How can I change this?

  Yes, I ended up choosing another one until I can fix this problem
