how to add www. to my domain name

how i can add www. to my custom domain name?
i currently have domain illuminatiuniverse.com mapped to my wordpress blog, but I want http://www.illuminatiuniverse.com to remain in the address bar.
when someone types either http://www.illuminatiuniverse.com or illuminatiuniverse.com into the address bar of their browser, i want http://www.illuminatiuniverse.com to remain showing, instead of currently switching to illuminatiuniverse.comhow to?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can’t. Every URL with the www (wordlwideweb) is seamlessly redirected to the URL without the “www”.
Also, please note that WordPress.com automatically removes the “www” from all URLs. Any traffic to http://www.example.com will be redirected to example.com. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/

@timethief thx for the quick response. now i can start getting over that emotionally and move onto to more pressing concerns, like: is sharing tools the only (best) way to have all the popular social media sharing links appear under each one of my posts?

much thanks.

so i’m following you now on twitter. i see you’ve got all your icons onto one line on each of your blog posts. how did you do that? my “official icons” are spacing out, and pushing the “more” box off onto the second line, even tho there’s plenty of space between icons to fit them all neatly on one line, a la timethief’s blog posts…
also, are you nto afraid you are losing anything by simply having a facebook “like” functionality, and not the full share feature?

On your sharing page see > Enabled Services
Services dragged here will appear individually. Then see > Services dragged here will be hidden behind a share button.
I have some of mine hidden behind the share button.

thx!

No I’m not afraid. I’m currently deleting spam comments made by people who are paid to spam blogs with bogus comments and they are using Facebook logins.
