how to add "www" to my domain name?

  how do i change my domain name from “ecostore.co.il” to “www.ecostore.co.il” ?
  when i tried to add a new domain, it said that this domain is already mapped to the blog…
  thank you!

  Howdy,

  Both the www and “naked” versions of your domain already work on WordPress.com without any additional settings. In order to promote a single canonical address for your site (good for SEO), we do strip out the “www” if used, though.

  In short, the www version of your domain does work, but won’t appear in the user’s address bar once they visit your site.

  thanks. thats what i thought, its just that the www version looks better.. but are you saying the the naked version is better for SEO?

  It isn’t necessarily that the naked version is better for SEO, as much as having one set canonical URL. To reduce confusion, increase simplicity, and avoid negative SEO from folks switching back and forth, we simply have all sites use the naked domain.
