How to adjust opacity of form fields?

    Hello all,
    I’ve started using wordpress a few weeks ago, and I’ve gradually learnt the basics.

    However, I still don’t understand how to use the additional CSS box for blocks, I know CSS I just don’t know how to connect it to the block.

    Most importantly, I would like to make the fields in my contact form semi opaque, but can’t find the option for that in the RGB or HEX codes.

    How would one do this?
