How to adjust the layout (Using suburbia theme)

  Hello,

  I’m new to WordPress.com and am having some difficulty with the layout. I’m not experienced with having blogs or a website.

  I get the basics of the CMS. I can upload and photo, create a page, add some text and publish it. But…

  How do I adjust the layout so it looks like the image used as an example here – http://wpshower.com/themes/suburbia/

  I’m trying to have a page with a series of medium-sized thumbnails of my paintings. If anyone knows any general tricks, that would be great too!

  On the main page, Suburbia doesn’t display regularly inserted images. You need to set a featured image to each post and make each post a sticky post.

  If you don’t see the Featured Image module on your Add New or Edit Post page, please make sure you’ve selected Featured Image in your Screen Options.

  If anyone stumbles across the thread in the meantime and has tips on displaying thumbnail images (click-able into larger images)for a gallery, then please do share!

  Note that the carousel cannot be disabled so if you do not want it to appear do not use the gallery shortcode.
