How to allow more than 3 posting excerpts for the Home Page?

  I am trying to show excerpts of more than just 3 prior postings on my main page. Is there any way to increase the number of post excerpts that are available for viewing on the home page?

  I’m using the Intergalactic template.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
