How do i allow users to upload images? I have the free version of wordpress

Hi there, are you talking about random visitors, or about users you are going to allow to write posts on your site?
Visitors can share images in comments on your posts and pages. They would upload the image to a file sharing service and then post the URL into a comment and the image would show up in the comment.
If you are talking about letting select people have permission to post on your site and include images in their posts, then you would first have to add them as an author to your site and then they can post to your site and upload and use images in their posts.
