How to alter home page and header (help! newbie!)

  Hi all –

  I am a newbie…

  I have two problems:

  I want to alter the subhead of the title of my blog….I need to add two more words…how do I edit that ….or the head, if need be?

  I deleted the initial comments from word press on my home page and now have a search box , with an apology on the home page…i created what I thought would be a new home page…but the old one (with the apology) still shows up and I have two home pages now…

  HEEEEEEEEEELP

  what to do?

  subhead is located at Dashboard -> Options -> Look for the space labeled Tagline

  the home page: Not sure what you mean by two home pages but the Not Found error is because you deleted your Hello World post. Just write a new post at Dashboard -> Write -> Post
