How to alter size of image inserted from url
-
Hi folks,
I have been storing my images on Dropbox and adding them into posts via the ‘Insert from url’ option. However, when I upload them they aren’t quite as large as I would like, even though they are large files. Is there a way to alter the size – I can’t see any option to do this?
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks in advance,

Also be mindful of the image dimensions for your theme.
Quick Specs (all measurements in pixels)
The main column width is 500 with an active sidebar, or 600 without a sidebar.
The sidebar width is 230.
The site logo has a maximum width and height of 300 on the home page and 100 on subsequent pages. https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/sobe/ -
Oh ok, thanks for letting me know. When I upload images it gives me the option to change the size so I just wondered if it would be the same for images inserted using a url.
Thanks for your help,

Making images smaller is easy https://en.support.wordpress.com/images/image-editing/ The opposite is not. Upload the correct image size into dropbox and then upload it into your blog.
