How to apply a different font/size/style to Site Title & Tagline

I’ve been banging my head for the past few days working out how to change the Site Title and Tagline’s font and size without having to use CSS.

I have purchased the Customization package and there seems to be a collective option for fonts – change the Headings font and it changes ALL headings, including the Site Title and the Tagline. Shouldn’t these things be separate in order for this feature to be fully flexible?

Regardless, even after purchasing a mode of allegedly having more freedom in this area, it’s an extremely stiff and inflexible part of the website.

If someone could give me a simple solution as to how to change the the font and size of the Site Title and Tagline separately then I will be most grateful.

  • You are right, the Headings option applies to ALL headings. See: http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/custom-fonts/

To customize individual headings you will need to add custom CSS code. For help on that, please post your question directly in the CSS Customization forum for the code that will be needed to make this change: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization#postform
