Thanks Panag!
I’ve now uploaded my first poll. It’s awefully out of format but it’s a start, I’ll try choosing a narrow format from the poll menu.
Thanks!! :)

I updated a poll – changed its format – but the changes weren’t reflected when the poll was displayed, whazzup with that?

How do i add a poll to my blog?
My blog address is http://rujivness.wordpress.com/I’ve tried adding the both the short code & the java script to the text widget. All that was displayed was the code with no poll box
-
– Javascript isn’t allowed in wp.com blogs; only the shortcode works.
– If you got the code instead of the actual poll, then you didn’t paste the shortcode correctly. The model is this:
[polldaddy poll=NUMBER_HERE]
– Of course you have to select one of the narrow designs suitable for the sidebar.
– Also, in a text widget you cannot add the same poll you have in a post: a poll can only appear in one place.

Hi,
i created a poll. on polldaddy.com i can see it, but in my dashboard i can’t see a poll. what’s wrong?my page: http://www.giga4ever.wordpress.com

Yes of course. You just paste the poll shortcode in a text widget. Of course it has to be one of the slim designs that will fit.
And please paste the exact URL of your blog when asking questions here – or link your nickname to your blog as explained in the Sticky 8 Things to Know. We usually need that to give a relevant answer.
