How to arrange picture side by side

Hi, I’m new in WordPress, please help me with picture arrangement. I’m planning to put 1 row 2 picture, so in my website I have 3 row. I manage to put the picture side by side by align the first picture to left and the second picture to right. But when I view the site using phone mode, the picture position clearly show that the first one on the left and the second one on the right website. Also in the phone mode shows that there are big white space between each row. How can I solve this problem. Someone please help me! I have no one to refer, I’m doing this alone

You can fix this by creating a gallery. The white space will not be a problem.

Yes, It’s possible. You just need to go to the image settings.

It seems the linking doesn’t work in a gallery. Only for the individual images.
