How to auto generate posts?

I have a lot of embed videos, urls, catagories and images i have managed to compile into a text file (2 million+) is there a way i can use this to create a page per item?
I was hoping i could just create a html file or similar with python, file being regexed and then inputting relevant information but am absolutely clueless when it comes to databases. If anyone could be of any help it would be greatly appreciate, as i fear i may not live long enough to add each individually.
Dont be afraid to dumb things down as im not great with tech talk. Thanks in advance

Hi @toall1985, you could examine the syntax of a WordPress export file, then use Python or whatever to generate the XML from text, then import that.
Do be careful though. While you’re welcome to import content you’ve written, we do not allow “machine generated” content on our servers. Please have a look that section here and let us know if you have questions as to whether this content would be okay on our servers:

Greatly appreciate the reply. I did in the end use python to compile a xml file and using all import to import the information. I am just using wordpress for site creation all data is stored on private server space i have purchased. Does this mean i go by server companys guidelines or do i still need to abide by your own in order to use wordpress to create site? Sorry if i seem ignorant just unsure where i stand atm. @toall1985 I assumed you were referring to a site hosted at WordPress.com since you’re posting in the forums for sites hosted here :)
You’re free to do what you want with your own WordPress.org installations. You’ll want to use the correct forums in the future, though: https://wordpress.org/support
